Overview

A stainless steel tube bender is responsible for operating machinery and equipment to bend stainless steel tubes into desired shapes and angles. They work primarily in manufacturing or fabrication settings where stainless steel tubing is used for various applications. The role requires technical expertise in operating bending machines, knowledge of stainless steel properties, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
  • Set up, Operate, Edit and Troubleshoot on CNC, NC and /or Manual bending equipment
  • Verify dimensions using VMM equipment as well as being able to execute more traditional inspection methods and the use of precision measuring instruments.
  • Reports to the Production Manager.

Our ideal candidate would have the following experience:

  • 3 years + CNC & Manual bending experience in a manufacturing industry – Bending Thin walled tubes experience is preferable
  • Must be familiar with tubular fabrication and production standards and methods.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are an asset
  • Working in a quick turn around production environment
  • Must have a positive attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
