Overview
- Work to maintenance shutdown deadlines.
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install pipe, valves, fittings and structural.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
- Use basic hand tools and their proper procedures.
- Bolt up and pressure test spools.
- Load supplies on truck and deliver piping, structural and equipment for on-site work.
- Operate man lift or assemble scaffolding for working at heights.
- Gather proper tools and materials needed for project.
- Operate and maintain hydraulic torqueing equipment.
- Perform manual lifting up to 50 pounds.
Terms of Employment:
- Full-time, temporary position May 31 through June 15, 2022
- Wage: established company pay bands
- Hours of Work: 7:00am – 5:00pm (hours subject to change based on site location)
- Overtime available
- Work is located in Lloydminster, SK
- Preference given to local applicants: LOA/Sub available
Skills requirements:
- Journeyman Steamfitter-Pipefitter Certification with Red Seal or Register Apprentice
- Industry Experience
- Current Safety Tickets required: H2S Alive, Construction Safety Training System Certification (CSTS 2020) and preferred: Fall Protection, AWP/EWP, Emergency First Aid
- Ability to lift up to 23kg
- Proficient in written, spoken and reading English

Experience:
- pipefitting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Steamfitter/Pipefitter Journeyperson certificate (preferred)
- H2S Alive certificate (required)
