Overview
Plant Maintenance shutdown:
·Follow direction appropriately from welders, pipefitters, company management and the customer, inspectors
·Perform duties as required in a professional, capable manner.
· Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend and install pipe, valves, fittings and structural
·Bolt up and pressure test spools
· Join pipe sections using line-up pins to line-up flanges; torque as per flange requirements
· Assist with loading and unloading of materials
·Gather proper tools and materials needed for project.
·For pipefitters: learn proper pressure test techniques and procedures. With direction, hold pipe and fittings ready for tacking/bolt up. With direction bolt up piping and perform maintenance and new construction duties on site.
Terms of Employment:
- Full-time, temporary position May 31 through June 15, 2022
- Wage based on established company pay band: qualifications and experience
- Hours of Work: Day or night shift available, 10 to12 hours duration (hours subject to change based on site location)
- Overtime available
- Work is located in Lloydminster, SK
- Preference given to local applicants: LOA/Sub available
Skills requirements:
·1-5 years’ Industry Experience
·Registered Apprentice
·Current Safety Tickets required: H2S Alive, CSTS 2020
·Preferred safety tickets : Emergency First Aid, Confined Space, Elevated/aerial work platform
·Ability to life up to 23kg
·Proficient in written, spoken and reading English
· Ability to work with small hand tools

Experience:
- Pipefitting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- H2S Alive certificate (preferred)
- CSTS 2020 (preferred)
