Job description

· Follow direction appropriately from supervisor, company management, the customer, an inspectors.

· Perform pipefitting job duties in a skilled, capable, professional manner

· Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend and install pipe, valves, fittings and structural

· Bolt up and pressure test

· Join pipe sections using line-up pins to line-up flanges; torque as per flange requirements

· Assist with loading and unloading of materials

· Gather proper tools and materials needed for project

· Actively participate in Davco’s Health, Safety & Environmental program

Skill Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Pipefitter Certification
  • WHMIS
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • Current Safety Tickets required: CSTS-2020
  • Safety Tickets preferred: H2S Alive, First Aid, Fall Protection, EWP (Elevated Work Platforms), Confined Space
  • Ability to lift up to 23kg
  • Proficient in written, spoken and reading English

Terms of Employment:

· Full time, project based

· Wage: Negotiable (varies based on apprenticeship level, experience, and relevant certifications) in accordance to company wage bands based on confirmed credentials.

· LOA as per project specifications

· Hours of Work: as per project specifications.

· Shift: as per project specifications.

· Weekend work may be required.

· Overtime paid in accordance employment legislation.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Salary: $40.00-$44.00 per hour
