SHOP SUPERVISOR

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a leading a team of ~30 shop employees who are involved in the custom manufacturing process. It is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, as well as “check- in’s “and overtime as needed or required. This position is situated in Esterhazy, SK.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations and all employees who are involved in the manufacturing processes in industrial custom fabrication and welding plant
  • Maximizes efficiency by analyzing workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization
  • Manages staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Set up, maintain, and use KPIs for employee performance reviews and monitoring
  • Ensures that project/department goals are met, adhering to/exceeding approved budgets and allotted hours. Provides feedback for closed loop feedback to improve budget development
  • Creating employee work schedules, training, and overseeing subordinates to verify that employees are performing all their duties effectively
  • Assuring all equipment works and arranging repairs when necessary
  • Responsible for interviewing and hiring job candidates, performs worker evaluations, and disciplinary actions
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Adheres to all safety protocols in the company

Experience:
