Job description
ALCO is looking for a new Steel Fabricator Process Shop team member to join our organization. If you can handle a fast paced exciting environment? This may be for you.
What we’re looking for:
Manual Metal Sheer and Break Operators,
Multicam Plasma table experience
Waterjet table experience
Python X Beam Line experience
Vernon Pipe profiling experience
Sheet Metal Rolling Experience
Mechanical Knowledge Required
Overhead Crane Experience
Must be able to read/write/Speak English fluently.
Reliable transportation
Previous experience working in a manufacturing/machine shop environment an asset but not required
Experience with hand tools
Must have CSA Steel-toed Boots (min 6” ankle coverage)
Good communication skills
Must be able to do some lifting: Lift up to 100 pounds (not continuous)
Other various general duties to be assigned, including laborer duties
Position Details:
Friendly and team-orientated atmosphere
Pay on Scale with apprenticeship requirements and dependent on experience
Salary: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
