Impact Industrial is a CWB/ABSA certified manufacturing facility that specializes in structural steel fabrication, custom metal fabrication, and pressure vessel fabrication. Impact Industrial provides complete metal fabrication services, from design to finished product.

IMPACT is currently looking for a driven, career oriented individual to enhance our team with the following position in Sherwood Park, AB:

Structural / B Pressure Welders

Qualifications

  • Tig Welding an asset
  • Must have roll welding experience in C.S and S.S.
  • Fitting experience (Pipe and Structural)
  • Experience with SCH 10 stainless is an asset
  • Tickets needed:P8-P8/F6 & P1-P15E/F3-F4

CWB all position stick and FCAW

Duties

  • Carbon Steel Pipe welding
  • Structural Steel Welding as needed
  • Applicants will be expected to maintain a strict schedule
  • Applicants will be asked if they can provide a WQR (test report from the testing center, not the welder performance card) for the needed qualifications. If it does not expire for six months we can do an in house test. If they cannot provide WQR, they will be going to test at a test center.
  • Welders will be required to pass RT on their first two production welds(qualifiers).

This is a full time position with a 3 month probation.
