Voss Contracting & Consulting Ltd. is currently looking for CWB Certified Welders. We are looking for long term welders with experience in heavy civil industries and bridges. Wages are $43/hr with a bonus $5/hr on all hours worked. With the opportunity for overtime and doubletime. Extended Health benefits are available with no probation period.

All work local in the Vancouver area. No out of town work.

Forklift/telehandler certification is an asset.
First Aid certification an asset

Experienced in structural field welding SMAW & FCAW, CWB for all position smaw and fcaw is required.
Both CWB tickets MUST BE at least 120 days from expiry, or more (we cannot use a welder whose tickets will expire within 120 days).
Qualified Rigger Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (preferred) Fall Pro Ticket (required) Working at Heights Ticket (required)
Must have or be willing to get SiteReadyBC Certification.

Must pass pre-employment alcohol and drug test
This position is for a journeyperson welder that has a vailid journeyperson ticket. Welders need to be able assist with pile driving operations and pile splicing preparation as well as be able to weld with minimal to no defects and in a reasonable time frame. Work hours will vary between 8-12 hour days and 5 to 6 days a week as required.
