Overview
Welders and Fitters at Midwest Structural are required to fit and weld structural components to specifications requested by the customer. These specifications will be explained to workers in detail before starting processes by their supervisor. Welders/Fitters are required to be competent in the following processes :

Horizontal Bandsaw Operation
Housekeeping
Magnetic Drill Operation
Equipment Inspections
Overhead Crane Operation, if certified
Operating Radiograph/OxyAcetylene Processes/Cutting Torch
Plate Clamp Operation
Portable Grinding Operation
Roller Operation
Using Power, Hand and Air Tools
Welding applications; ACA Gouging, MIG Welding

Salary: $26.00-$33.00 per hour
