Overview
Garneau Manufacturing Inc. is currently looking for F/T Structural Steel Fitters. Day Shift or Night Shift
All work is shop based in our Morinville, AB shop. Employees must have own transportation and hand tools.
STRUCTURAL FITTER duties include:
- Blue Print Reading
- Lay out reference points and patterns
- Prepare materials prior to assembly
- Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures
- Tack weld or bolt sections together
- Set up and operate metal working machines
- Construct patterns and templates
- Overhead Crane use
- Parts prepared by CNC machines before assembly
Experience:
- Structural Steel fitting – 1 year min experience
