Overview

Advantage Resourcing is seeking an experienced Field Install Fitter/Welder for its Ruston, LA location. Candidates should own their own hand tools and have a minimum of 3 years of experience welding and fitting, preferably in the grain industry.

This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties:

  • Fabricate and install by measuring, cutting, bending, shaping, threading, soldering and gluing using hand tools and equipment
  • Laying out fits, welds, and installing fabricated components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pipes, cyclones, truck bins, and other pneumatic conveying and dust collection equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, process flow diagrams, sketches and product specifications
  • Generate materials lists by selecting types and sizes of materials according to job specifications, drawings or isometrics

Other preferred qualifications sought include:

  • Industrial construction and/or welding experience
  • Experience with MIG, Fluxcore, and/or Hardwire welding
  • Ability to travel, requiring staying out of town for multiple weeks at a time
