Aerotek is currently seeking qualified welders on night shift for a manufacturing shop located in Northwest Houston.

Description:
Weld structural steel components together using flux core wire fed process as well as mig.

Weld flux core flat, horizontal, and vertical up

Set up own welding machine

Grinding and gouging structural steel components

Tack welding

Using a cutting torch and overhead crane

Must pass 3G mig and flux cored welding test Skills:
structural welder, flux core welder, mig welder, wire, gouging, grinding, structural fabrication, FCAW, GMAW, 3G, 4G Top Skills Details:

structural welder Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must have at least 5 years experience in production capacity welding structural steel using flux core wire fed process. short arc is a plus. Ideal candidate can weld mig and flux vertical up. Will look at a candidate who can just weld flux core.
