Sub-arc gantry welding technician (urgent hiring)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, maintain and operate sub-arc gantry welding equipment.
• Choose the proper welding procedure for the material thickness.
• Keep work area clean.
• Operate overhead crane as required.
• Operate indoor forklift as required.
• Follow all safety and health procedures to avoid accidents and hazards.
• Identify issues and hazards.
• Able to work under pressure.

Equipment and machinery experience

• Sub-arc experience is an asset.
• Some welding and fitting experience is an asset but not a requirement.
• Overhead crane experience is an asset.
• Forklift experience is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
