Sky High Roofing has been in business in the Greater Victoria area for 15 years and we now have exciting opportunity for experienced SHEET METAL FABRICATOR/INSTALLER SUBCONTRACTOR specialist to become a valued member of our team as our business continues to grow.
We are looking for reliable, outgoing individual with a strong work ethic to join our growing team as an experienced bender to join our team. The metal bender will be responsible to produce metal sheets.
Duties include:
- Perform metal working operations including, but not limited to cutting, drilling, and tapping, bending, grinding, de-burring and installing.
- Ensure job site is properly maintained
- Follow instruction to maintain the proper production flow
- Perform quality control
- Ideal candidate would be reliable, dependable, have knowledge of brake, slitter and hand tools.
What we require:
- Driver’s license is essential
- Must be able to communicate in English
· Reliable, dependable, and a team player.
- Ability to work and communicate with others
- Ability to lift heavy materials while following safety protocols
- Ability to learn and follow our company safety policy
- Punctual, reliable, and bondable
· Experience with cutting, drilling, sawing, numerical control and press brake.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent. Starting Salary: Industry competitive wages depending on experience
