Pay $26.00Night shift Stick, Mig, Flux, and Sub Arc welding on stainless and carbon, some chrome and satellite. Previous pressure vessel experience. Must have Submerged Arc Experience Shall report to the Managers of Production / Field Service, Operations and also the shop supervisor and lead man. Shall be competent to pass a welding test on ½” – 4” plate or pipe per ASME Section VIII. Should also have 2 years’ minimum experience in their craft working with carbon, stainless steels, low alloy and nickel based materials. Must be able to read engineering drawings and welding procedures. Observed test on welded surfaces to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications. Welds components in flat, vertical or overhead positions. Ignite torch and adjust valves, amperage and voltage to obtain desired flame or arc. Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations. Physical demands include ability to walk, bend, climb, crouch and crawl is essential, as well as being physically able to work in a confined space. Must be able to withstand fluctuations in temperature and be able to work in hot, humid, or cold work environments. Other physical requirements include being able to pull, push and lift at least 50 pounds occasionally.
