Overview
Systems Fabrication Technician
Berendsen Fluid Power designs & manufactures custom Hydraulic Power Units & Systems, Manifolds & Controls for their customers. We are currently looking for a Systems Fabrication Technician
The individual need to exhibit competency in all skills involved in the fabrication and assembly of custom Hydraulic Power Units and Systems and Manifold Assemblies to the procedures established by Berendsen Fluid Power.
Those skills include:
- A general understanding of the fluid power principals, products & industry standards
- Ability to follow shop drawings, written instructions & direction from the shop foreman to assemble HPUs, manifolds and systems in accordance with industry standards
- Advise Fabrication Shop Supervisor and/or Fabrication Shop manager of any concerns or issues pertaining to any particular HPU or Assembly which may adversely affect performance or BFP’s ability to meet scheduled ship date
- Identify and inspect and isolate at the job workstation or job bin, all components required to complete a specific project within our ISO environment
- The ability to safely carry out all duties assigned to ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements
- Welding & fitting, machining, hydraulic tube bending & flaring, pipe threading & fitting, operation of a forklift, overhead crane & lifting

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Basic Hydraulic Course or Equivalent
- Excellent welding and machining skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Forklift Certification preferred
