A PROBATIONARY FULL TIME TEACHER

For West Central High School in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta

Applications are invited for a Probationary Full Time Grade 9-12 Fabrication, Welding and Mechanics Teacher.

West Central is looking for a skilled trades person to instruct hands-on courses for Fabrication 10, 20, 30, Mechanics 10 and perhaps Mechanics 20/30 if there is the dual skill set.

Start date will be August 29, 2022.

West Central High School is the only public high school in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta and shares its campus with the Catholic High School, St. Dominic’s High School, and with Red Deer College. West Central High School offers a full complement of academic, fine arts, career and trades, and extra-curricular opportunities for students in grades 9-12.

A complete package will include cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single Google or pdf document.

The successful applicant will be required to provide original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record and Intervention Record checks as a condition of employment.
