TR Petroleum Ltd. is a Canadian, privately owned, family business that has been serving Saskatchewan customers since 1999. TR Petroleum is an independent marketer and distributor of gasolines, diesels, heating oil and lubricants, as well as operating retail and cardlock locations. TR Petroleum, as the largest independent petroleum marketer in Saskatchewan, supplying independent retailers, local fuel distributors and commercial consumers from various industries including:

About the Opportunity

A successful candidate will be required to perform skilled tasks in the development, repair and maintenance of our company and customer petroleum tank units. We maintain a new fleet of equipment which consists of highway tractors (Kenworth/Cummins), fuel b-trains, tridem fuel bodyjobs. The candidate will have the ability to work independently, follow instructions and meet design specifications. Work assignments will be received in the form of oral or written work orders, but the employee is expected to determine the nature and extent of the need. This position represents a six (6) month contract term with the possibility of transition to full-time employment upon completion of the initial term.

Skills, Experience & Responsibilities

· Responsible for working in accordance with OH&S regulations and TR Petroleum work safe procedures and programs

· Understand schedule requirements and perform work efficiently to meet estimates, work with minimal supervision

· Fabricate, fit and tack fabrications according to specifications and drawings. Verify consumable, shielding gas, and welding parameters of welding equipment in relation to the weld specification of each weld

· Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot problems with mechanical and electronic equipment.

· Pipefitting of product lines

· Material handling and moving of finished product

· Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor to facilitate prompt correction or reporting.

· Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.

· Class 1 is an asset

· Journeyperson Welding licenses is an asset

· Aluminum welding experience is an asset
