Overview
Pentalift is looking for an adaptable individual that possesses strong communication and leadership skills to join our team. This individual will spend the majority of their time performing production welding tasks. When required, they will guide and assist others in the department.
Pentalift Equipment Corporation is one of North America’s leading manufacturers of loading dock equipment and industrial material handling equipment.
Hours are Saturday and Sunday 7:00am to 7:00 pm.
Duties:
- Fitting and welding
- Coordinate activities and materials flow in the department
- Assign work based on job orders and production schedule
- Solves work problems or assists others in solving work problems
- Guides or assists assembly personnel
- Ensure products conform to specifications and to the details of the order
- Motivates employees to high standards
- Maintains a neat and orderly department
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure work is performed in a safe manner
- Unlock / lockup on weekends
- Performs other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- 7 plus years of welding experience in a metal manufacturing environment
- Strong fitting and welding skills
- The ability to lead, mentor and coach others
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, shop orders etc.
- Independent, self-starter
