Responsibilities

  • Develop Body Shop Manufacturing Stream AMIC {earning material, core and skills assessment documentation and training validation assessments.
  • Design specific training programmes for Body Shop Manufacturing in line with Training Needs Analysis (TNA) of the area requirements.
  • Organise and prepare for training delivery e.g of (for new product Launch, facelift programs (OPD’s), special training requirements) the individual must be able to formulate appropriate training material for example, training plans, training schedules, trainer guides, learner guides and Formative and summative assessment documents for training purposes.
  • Co-ordinate all necessary training for Body Shop Manufacturing technical related personel including: electrical/mechanical/fiting
  • Coordinate spot welding, new generation robotic body welding, Mig welding/Co2 welding.
  • Overseebody parts identification and assembly & joining of parts through welding process.
  • Coordinate the artisan multi-skilling training related programmes with the relevant workshop management. This includes covering both the practical and theoritical aspects of the relevant Operator and Artsan training programmes and refer matters to Technical Training Workshop Supervisor.

Minimum requirements

  • STD 10/Grade 12 english/maths (plus)
  • Trade certificate as Millwright, Specialist Welder and/or Mechatronics, Mechanical Fitter with excellent welding skills (plus) or
  • National Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical & Mechanical
  • B-tech Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Contract length: 18 months
