Position Summary

This position is responsible for visiting the job site, accurately measuring the base materials and creating a digital template. This is a key customer service role.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Takes raw measurements from the job site of cabinetry, stove, and sink openings with the use of a digitizer

· Evaluates job site for installation e.g. stairs, elevators, tight hallways

· Gathers or confirms all information for the job e.g. sinks, stoves, colour, overhangs, profiles, backsplash

· Fills out onsite paperwork finalizing design details

· Provides an estimated installation time for office to schedule

· Develops a shop drawing of the cabinetry and countertops

· Transfers this information to a CAD program and uploads it onto the company server

· Provide exceptional customer service

· Works in a safe manner that complies with all Safety Guidelines

· Contributes to team effort and completes other duties as required or assigned.


· One year of relevant experience in templating, possibly related to estimating.

· Experience with digital templating equipment such as the LT55 or Proliner helpful but not required.

· Two years of experience in stone installations; possess a broad range of surfaces and installation techniques.

· Trim carpentry skills are very helpful.

· Valid Class 5 drivers license
