Overview
Fugue Lauman is seeking an experienced Tig CuNi Pipe Welder to join its team.
A Pipe Welder prepares and welds pipe and fittings for various material types as specified by construction drawings and technical guidance documents.
Payrate: $22.00 per hour.
All contractors are required to work a mandatory minimum of 5 days, 10-11 hours per day, and open to more hours if required by the client.
The requirements for the position are as follows:
- Must have all personal PPE prior to taking the skill test.
- Must have personal transportation to Louisiana and to and from the job site.
- Must provide proof of residence outside of 70 miles of job location to receive the per Diem.
- I-9 documents of your choice to verify you are authorized to work in the US.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of Tig CuNi Pipe Welding experience.
- Must successfully demonstrate the ability to pass a hands-on Tig (heli-arc) pipe welding test on CuNi (copper nickel) pipe in a 6G position on 2” pipe with 3/32” wall thickness using a gas purge with 1/8” root opening with all uphill weld progression.
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test, complete the required Osha Medical Clearance and Fit Respirator Test.
