Overview
IntelliFEED, Inc. is a leader in high-speed, automated equipment for the packaging industry. We are located in the South Metro area. This is a direct hire position and NOT an agency listing.
We are hiring first shift welder (7 AM to 3:30 PM M-F) to provide weldments and support for the assembly of the intelliFEED machines. There is very little repetitive welding and overtime is available, but never required.
Job Description:
- TIG, MIG, and finish high quality stainless steel food grade machines and parts.
- Read and interpret supplied blueprints, internal work instructions and job processing travelers.
- In-Process inspection of welds and monitoring of processes to ensure parts adhere to IntelliFEED Inc. manufacturing’s workmanship standards.
- Multitask; Work on several projects at the same time without losing the ability to complete them on time and within specifications.
- Maintain quality and safety records, including monthly preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Adhere to and promote quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Perform other tasks or duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Related trade school or secondary school program and 2-5 years of related experience or equivalent.
- Experience with stainless steel sheet metal.
- Knowledge of welding techniques.
- Independently work to produce complex sheet metal assemblies.
Starting wage based on experience.
