If you are looking for an incredibly stable welding role in Cambridge, look no more! We are looking for up to 4 Production TIG Welders to join an organization that is a leader in their field. Currently, there are two day shift, and two afternoon opportunities available. Bonus, every weekend is a long weekend with this organization!
ADVANTAGES
- top of the line air handling system
– either straight day shift (6am- 4:30pm Mon – Thurs) or straight afternoons (4:30pm – 3am Mon – Thurs)
- starting rate of pay $23.87 with a raise after 80 shifts (2022 rate will be closer to $28 hourly!)
- pension after one year, 50% matching + 1% (ie, you put in 6%, they put in 4%)

- OT paid out after your regularly scheduled shift
- 1.5x pay on Saturday overtime if you want it, 2x pay on Sunday overtime if you want it
- up to 4 weeks holidays a year!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- performing TIG welding
- operating a robotic welder at times
- performing production MIG welding tasks
- performing quality checks
- working as a team towards a collective goal
- welding stainless steel and aluminum at a moderate pace of work
- grinding parts as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- must have held a previous (or current) welding certification through CWB, TSSA and ASME
- high attention to detail
- previous QC work is welcomed
- tenure or history of growth on your application is strongly desired
- professional attitude and work ethic
- able to maintain high quality of workmanship in a production welding environment
- provide two work related, supervisor references
- must have a reliable mode of transportation, not on a bus route when the shift ends or starts
- able to work at a moderate to fast pace of work
- live within an easy commute of Cambridge
