Experienced TIG welder needed for welding aluminum parts.

Requirements:

  • Must have strong experience welding aluminum
  • Ability to perform a variety of specific welder tasks, such as, set-up, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished products
  • Ability to inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications
  • Ability to read, understand and follow job order specifications engineering drawings, and/or work orders
  • Must have a reliable method of transportation and a valid license

  • $30/hr -40 hrs/week – M-F 9am-6pm

RK Autowerks is a leading German performance engineering shop in Fort Worth. We specialize in performance development of BMW V8 twin turbo M engines, consisting of M5, M6, M8, X5M, and the X6M. Unlike many performance shops where you’re required to work on a variety of cars, we only work on 5 vehicles, all with the same engine.

We’re at the aftermarket industry forefront when it comes to M performance pushing the platform with respect to performance and products. Our 10,000 sqft state of the art climate controlled shop is located just north of Ft. Worth, Texas, and includes an engine building room, 4-axis and 5-axis CNC mills, metrology grade 3D laser scanner, fiber laser engraver, chassis dynamometer, and more. Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
