In order meet company expansion and fast growing business. Canadian Feed Screws is looking for experienced Tig welder and polisher with previous experience in the related industry as well as experience and knowledge of relative machines.

Job Summary

· Job Position: Tig Welder and Polisher

· Type of Job: Full-time

· Wage: $22.00 per hour – $28.00 per hour

· Working Hours: 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday

· Working Location: 80 Venture Drive, Scarborough, ON M1B 3L6

Qualification

· Polisher with Equivalent experience on operating CNC polish machine)

· Tig welder (Minimum 2 years experience required) on CNC welding machine

· Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)

· Must to perform daily inspection of parts

· Responsible for maintaining productivity and efficiency as per Work Order specification

· Must maintain responsible housekeeping of work area

Equipment and Machinery Experience

· Computer numerical control (CNC) welding machines

· CNC polish machine

Weight Handling

Up to 20 kg (40 lbs)

Specific Skills

· Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments

· Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables

· Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance

· Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances

· Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports

· Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)

· Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces

· Set up, operate and maintain a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools

· Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
