Overview
Our client is looking for a TIG Welder to work in their custom fabrication shop. Ideal candidate must be eager to learn and have some exposure to MIG welding, an asset.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Read blue prints and shop drawings
Must be able to weld using flat, vertical and overhead positions
Utiltize different tools such as calipers and rulers prior welding to align, lay out and position to secure parts
Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to welding trade
Review customer orders and calculate requirement to determine welding technique
Weld mild steel, stainless steel and other types
Ability to fabricate different parts
Comply with company safety procedures to ensure a safe environment
Qualifications
· 3-5 years of TIG/MIG Welder experience
· Knowledge using various metal finishing tools and methods
· Physically fit with the ability to lift 30-50lbs
. Exposure to working in a manufacturing environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
