One Way One Way Wireless Construction is a Veteran Owned & Operated Company with over 40 years in business.

We are seeking to hire full-time experienced welders. This is not a shop position, you will be working in the great outdoors at various heights reinforcing cellular towers throughout the Midwest. Welders may average about 20-40% of the time welding, the other portion of the position will be to assist in tower hand skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years’ welding experience is required, overhead welding experience preferred.
  • Previous climbing experience preferred.
  • Experience pulling wire, cable, or fiber.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 500′, and to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Candidates for this position must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Physical exam.
  • Must be qualified to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to travel out of state (Monday-Friday).

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must pass drug test.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical.
  • Must pass Authorized Climber/Rescuer, OSHA 10-Hour and CPR/First Aid trainings upon hire.
  • Must be able to climb tall structures 50-500’+ and work at heights with 50 lbs. of gear.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
  • Basic mechanical ability.
  • Basic knowledge and use of hand tools required.
  • Construction background is a plus.
  • Must have reliable transportation and arrive on time consistently.

PHYSICAL REQUREMENTS:

  • Ability to climb several hundreds of feet with over 50lbs of gear.
  • Work long days 12 hour a days are not uncommon.
  • Frequently moving, transporting, positioning objects of 50 pounds or more.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, sit, and climb ladders and communication towers and work in an elevated position that is +/- 500 feet.
  • Frequently required to use hand and power tools.
