Qualified candidates will have:
- In depth understanding of SAW, GMAW, GMAW-Spray, FCAW – Aluminum GMAW is a plus
- Knowledge of steel fabrication including layout, fitting, and best practices.
- Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
- Ability to observe welding technique, diagnose issues, and make corrective actions
- Proficient in the use of conventional and precision measuring instruments
Duties and responsibilities:
- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
- Review welds and diagnose issues to meet quality standards
- Support the R&D team with special projects
- Maintain welding utilized equipment
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
