We are currently recruiting for Apprentice Pipefitters to work a Turnaround in the Wabamun area. Please visit our website www.onecgroup.com for more company information.

Turnaround Details:

· Short-term 10 hr days/nights Turnaround

· Pre-Access Test Required can start immediately after results cleared

· Sundance Generating Station

· $62.40 per day Travel, NO LOA

· OT after 8 hours as long as ALL 7 days scheduled are worked

Wage Details:

· $40 / hour for Employees and $50 / hour for Contractors

Job Description:

· Bolt up and prepare fabricated pipe spools for Hydro test

· Design, read and interpret Isometric Drawings for fabrication

· Fit up and tack piping as per isometric drawings

· Accurately measure, layout and mark piping for cutting

· Operate manual or semi-automatic flame cutting equipment

· Operate hoisting, lifting equipment & rigging

· Operate previously set-up welding machines

· Interpret P&ID’S

Job Requirements:

· Registered Steamfitter-Pipefitter Apprentice in Alberta permitted to apply preference will be given to Journeyman Certification in Alberta or Red Seal equivalent

· A strong background in boiler repair

· A strong background in rigging

· A strong mechanical aptitude

· Experience Working in a field fabrication

· Understands English, speaks average to excellent English, average to excellent English reading skills

· Read and interpret Isometric / Construction drawings, drawings specifications, manuals and processes

· Positive, outgoing, motivated and hardworking

· Willingness to work a flexible schedule

· Valid driver’s license

· The ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels

· Must have valid CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2018 and preferably confined Space & Fall Protection Tickets
