ROLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
- Perform FCAW/MCAW & SMAW welding procedures and other types depending on project needs
- Gouge, grind and perform weld repairs to mining haul truck boxes, shovel buckets, dozer blades, and other mining equipment repairs
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand
- Understands and follows all safety policies and procedure
- Maintains a clean and safe work area
- May perform other duties as assigned by leadership
ACCOUNTABILITY & DECISION MAKING
Scope and magnitude of financial, budgetary, cost, employee responsibility and decision-making.
· The welder will be responsible for the quality and efficiency of their workmanship.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Years of experience combined with education, designations or certifications.
· Willing to provide training- Wages will reflect experience.
· Previous Welding experience required
· Valid driver’s license
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
The nature and extent of skills and competencies required to achieve the goals of the position.
· Proficient knowledge with welding & fabrication processes.
· Highly motivated and self-directed capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
· Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00-$34.38 per hour
