If you’re eager to learn to Weld or if you’re already experienced, then we have the jobs for you!

Welding training candidates will train at the welding school on site for all procedures, methods and equipment. As the job progresses and certain proficiency tests have been passed, evaluations will be completed.

Pay: $15.50-16.50+ per hour (DOE)

Hours: Mon-Thur (Some Fridays as required), 6:00am-4:30pm

Job Requirements:
Must be able to lift and install replacement rolls of weld wire that weighs up to 60 lbs

Must be able to frequently stand, pull, push, kneel, crawl, crouch or lift

Follow all safety rules and regulations

Knowledge of weld symbols and arc-air gouging

AWS Certification on site

Must be able to pass an initial visual test

(for fitters only) Proficient at drawing interpretation, able to prepare joint settings, pass various welding tests, able to pass fillet weld break test

Expectations:
Performs quality FLUX CORE welding on a wide range of jobs and welding processes used

Perform all types of welding processes per job requirements

Operate a welding gun that requires pulling a “trigger” on this apparatus for about 90% of the specified shift

Operate a grinder and wire brush

(for fitter position only) Interpret shop drawings, fit-up and weld in shop for fabrication
