Smith Industries is looking for Non Code Vessel Welders or 1G Certified Welders. Will average 50 hours per week. Quality Requirements: Must learn and follow all quality requirements in accordance with ASME and API policy standards. Responsible for the monitoring, qualification and training of employees including standards, procedures, and work instructions. Must follow all verbal and written instructions conveyed by the Vessel Production Manager regarding policy standards. Must have, and maintain, a general working knowledge of API, ASME, Q1 and Smith Industries, LLC Policy requirements and the safety aspects of applicable industries.Management Requirements: When required, special projects/tasks assigned by Operations and Management Representative must be treated as priority and completed in a professional and expeditious manner.General Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Must meet all requirements of WI-017, Welding Operations. Must pass weld test. Above all a team player with high level of dedication. 1 year of welding experience preferred. Pay depending on experience. No per diem.
