Wall Assembler/ Panel Fabricator
Ryanden CustomBuilt, a construction company which designs and fabricates panelized building assemblies at a facility in Truro, Nova Scotia, and delivers and installs them across the province.
The Panel Fabricator candidate will have an interest in sustainable, ecologically-minded building practices and be comfortable working in a small company environment. He or she is punctual, detail-oriented, able to focus individually or participate in collaborative tasks, and shop production.
The Panel Fabricator role is a full-time role that will be based on site in Truro, Nova Scotia.
Responsibilities include;
- Participate in regular safety and goal-setting meetings with the rest of the shop team
- Follow production shop drawings and cut lists to perform various shop tasks
- Use saws, nailers, drivers, staplers, insulation blowing equipment, overhead cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, and other tools and machinery
- Assist with proper maintenance of tools and equipment
- Keep a clean, tidy work space and participate in the proper material handling and receiving, storage, and use procedures
- Assist on project installs – as needed
