Come grow with us…North American Stamping is expanding and looking to hire. We are looking for a Welder to join our team! Hours of work are based on a Midnight shift schedule running 10:50pm – 7:20am. Hourly rate starting at $25.24

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years previous manufacturing or production experience
  • Capable of lifting up to 35lbs continually
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stand 8 hours a day
  • Reliable transportation to get to work on a rotating shift schedule
  • Ability to work shifts

The position duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Work individually or within a team to accomplish weld and company goals
  • Operate weld and assembly production equipment as required
  • Set up and change over all weld production equipment
  • Conduct daily preventative maintenance of welding and assembly equipment
  • Meet productivity and output goals daily
  • Able to enter information into company based computer programs
  • Work within cross functional teams to improve equipment performance
  • Assist in setting up and minor troubleshooting of weld cells
  • Conduct inspection destruct at designated times
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience in safely operating production equipment
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English
  • Ability to multi-task and meet production goals in a fast paced production environment
  • Demonstrated ability to function both independently and with good judgment in a team environment
  • Able to lift up to 25lbs, stand and walk on a continuous basis
  • Exposure to noisy environment
