Overview

THE POSITION

Perform weld audits which includes the use of all relevant weld testing equipment used in the preparation, analysis and reporting of weld audit results.

Provide assistance and support to production for analysis of weld audit results, containment of non-conforming or suspect material, and problem solving and corrective action for continuous improvement.

Maintains records, quality assurance files and data, and prepares reports as required.

Provides guidance and support to production work cells.

Perform other related duties as required.

Comply with company policies and procedures supporting the quality management system, environmental management system, and health and safety.

Available for all shifts and weekend overtime as required.

WHAT YOU OFFER

Successful completion of high school education (S.S.G.D or equivalency)

Basic knowledge of weld theory, as well as practical applications to assist in corrective measures, when required.

Physical ability sufficient to completely perform the essential elements of the job.

Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Basic computer skills and ability to use equipment to prepare test samples.
