This isn’t your average manufacturing position. The Weld Prep and Grinding Operator will be the support required for the weld department to be successful welding our various rim sizes. Additional opportunities are available for a candidate eager to learn new skills in other departments and want to expand their experience in operations.

The role:

  • Weld prep grinding our parts prior to welding
  • Finish grinding our parts once welding has been completed
  • Loading and unloading parts using a crane
  • Loading and unloading a robotic welding cell to make small parts
  • Loading and unloading jigs and fixtures
  • Loading and unloading a CNC plasma table

Skills you bring:

  • Good English written and oral communication skills
  • Able to operate a handheld grinder and other power tools as required
  • Able to work independently while maintaining required output
  • Must be able to read and interpret production drawings and procedures
  • Must be able to be certified as a forklift operator and overhead crane operator
  • Able to lift 50 pounds routinely throughout the day
  • Lean Manufacturing including 5S knowledge and experience will be considered an asset
