Overview

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a Welder with a great company located in the Bradenton/Sarasota, FL area.

Duties Include:

  • The Welder B is responsible for TIG Welding / Fabrication of custom parts and/or components using ISI supplied drawings and/or blueprints
  • Must be able to meet or exceed the requirement of the project through manual fabrication such as port alignment, scribing, cutting/coping, tacking, tuning and welding; closely collaborate with machinists throughout the manufacturing process for each phase of the project.
  • Must be familiar with metallurgy, primarily stainless steel.
  • Must know the proper weld settings for welding various materials along with filler rod selection if needed.
  • Must be able to produce vacuum tight welds in hard-to-reach areas of parts.
  • Ability and understanding of how to identify the proper order of operations and control heat zones and pulsing
  • Ability to braze different materials together while maintaining a proper vacuum tight seal and weld while operating a positioner table.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Must pay close attention to details on blueprints.
  • Associates Degree or certification from a welding training program.
  • At least one year of applicable experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
