FarmAnywhere is seeking a full-time welder and painter. In this position, you will be exposed to a variety of tasks. If you want to learn a trade, enjoy working with your hands and are interested in building vertical farms in shipping containers, then this may be your perfect opportunity.

those positions will help in the entire job construction process, from welding, electrical, plumbing, assembling and ensuring a complete high-quality vertical indoor farm to be used by thousands around the world.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING | THE ROLE

  • Perform system integration inside container farms.
  • Ensure installations are meeting established standards.
  • Promote and strive for attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Must maintain accuracy on all measures; you are expected to maintain this accuracy level in both units measured and jobs measured.
  • Break down all required materials for successful first-time completion of all jobs measured.

WHAT YOU BRING | THE PERSON

  • welding experience
  • 1+ years of Construction experience is an asset.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Highly organized and accurate.
  • Exceptional analytical problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Great attention to detail while performing accurate measurements in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Flexibility and demonstrated ability to adapt well to a changing environment.
  • Cleanliness and being organized is a key assets.
  • Conciseness of its surroundings.

Our farms can be built to be off the grid using leading-edge solar power and are intended to be used in both remote communities and large-scale facilities located in urban areas. Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$24.00 per hour paid weekly

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
