Overview
Strong working experience of welding and fabrication process and environment.
Strong knowledge of steel, components and assemblies, welding methods, welding processes, welding symbols and definitions.
Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety standards.
Ability to perform kitting for jobs
Ability to perform full inspection toward meeting product specifications
Strong ability to troubleshoot, identify root cause and systematically solve problems
Excellent team player.
Proven leadership skills in managing a team of 10+ welders
Work includes set-up, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished products
Work with fitters or fitters/welders to assist in the fabrication or welding of multi-component parts
Operate forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the jobs needs

Pay: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour
