**WELD TEST ON PLATE. WELDERS WILL WELD ON BOTH PLATE AND PIPE.

WELDER RESPONSIBILITIES:

The welder position is responsible for welding pressure vessels and ancillary equipment to build large, industrial, steam boilers.

In addition to this, this position is responsible for maintaining their work area/station and assisting the production manager performing various general manufacturing functions.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/REQUIREMENTS:

  • PASS the weld test that will be taken prior to employment:
  • 2G 100% Bend Test – 1/8” open root MIG with Flux Core Fill & Cap

0.35 MIG and .052 Flux Core – ONLY 2 WELDING PROCEDURES

  • Bring welding hood and any other equipment that you would like to use.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi‐task in a fast paced work environment.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, team player office environment.

REPORTS TO: Production Manager

HOURS: Full Time Employment – (M-F 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

**(Optional) – Overtime also available at times.

COMPENSATION: Based on skill level.

Pay: $14.00 – $18.00 per hour
