PTW is hiring Welder Apprentices to join our team in Lower Mainland, British Columbia.

GOOD TO KNOW

Local position or within commuting distance

Work Schedule – 4 days on and 3 days off

Location: Delta, BC

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

Responsible for the maintenance of tools and equipment to keep them in safe working conditions.

Assists in welding scopes as directed.

Responsible for cleaning and inspecting cut surfaces.

Perform spark watch with competency and report to supervisor with any issues.

Organizes work and maintains a safe work environment.

Identifies hazards and tag out/lock out cutting equipment.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Must possess construction and industrial electrical experience.

Must be a registered apprentice welder.

Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.

Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).

Excellent communication skills.

A demonstrated ability to work safely.

TICKETS REQUIREMENTS

Must have applicable safety tickets (CSTS, WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection, AWP)

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
