The Industrial Process Filtration Division is looking for a Welder B to work in our Greensboro, NC location. Position Summary

The responsibilities described here are representative of those tasks an employee performs to successfully complete the essential functions of this job; however, this is not a comprehensive listing of all tasks that may be assigned or required. The duties include, but may not be limited to the following: – Independently set up and operate GTAW welding machines and welding support equipment – Prepare and apply manual GTAW joints per defined welding procedures – Read and interpret design drawings, specifications and routing instructions – Prepare and maintain all quality documentation including initial, in-process and final inspection – Active participation in safety initiatives and programs – Occasional participation in continuous improvement projects (kaizen events, etc.) – Maintain equipment by performing minor maintenance and cleaning – Participate in HPT’s as required

Qualifications

– High School Diploma or equivalent – Must be able to read, write and understand English – Welding related technical school training preferred – Minimum of two years of experience in a GTAW welding environment – Ability to obtain inspection stamp within 1 year of employment – This is a 1st shift assignment – Must be able to work overtime upon request, including weekends
