Incentive, Travel and Retention Program effective until January 31, 2023:

  • The Incentive Program consists of an additional $80/day for this position – paid weekly. To receive incentive, “days worked” will be defined as minimum 4 hours of work on site.
  • The Retention Program offers an additional $25/day, paid by January 31, 2023 (or following corresponding pay period), or upon release by the employer (end of project).
  • Travel Allowance Program available to all provinces.

Jardeg is recruiting B-Pressure Welders by Hand to join the team supporting the Imperial Oil Kearl Lake Maintenance project near Fort MacKay, Alberta. This position is on a 14/14 rotation, 11.5 hours per day. Charter flights are provided from Calgary & Edmonton as well as bussing from Fort McMurray. Camp accommodations are provided for those on shift.

Hand Welders:

  • Weld up to 30 inches (FDI) per day when material is available, some welds may be customized while others may be repetitive procedures to complete the work.
  • Use welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, or SAW to weld pressure piping.
  • Follow various company policies and procedures such as:
  • ISO 9001-2008,
  • Graham’s Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS),
  • Client Specific WPS, and
  • Graham’s Safety Program.

Position Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Certificate of Completion in the Welding trade.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09 or 2020) Certification.
  • Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection.
  • Energy Safety Canada Confined Space.
  • Basic Rigging.
  • First Aid – Level A or C.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Welding Tickets:

  • B-Pressure Certificate.
  • F3/F4.
  • CWB FCAW – All Positions.
  • CWB SMAW – All Positions.
  • CCO 661T.
  • CCO 1063.
