Job Summary:
Expressions of interest for Spring/Summer 2021.
You are a Journeyperson B Pressure Welder with an all positions CWB ticket, and have extensive experience using SMAW welding procedures. You have experience welding pipe as well as non-pipe items related to the installation of piping on a pipeline construction project site.
Responsibilities:
- Performs Pipe welding (capable of rolling pipe and/or position welding)
- Develops patterns for projects or follow directions given in layouts, blueprints and work orders
- Cleans and checks for defects
- Mentors and coaches Apprentice Welders
- May perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be an Interprovincial Red Seal or have a Journeyman Welding ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
- Must possess a valid “B” pressure ticket
- Must have a Carbon Steel Performance Qualification ticket for SMAW F3/F4
- Must have a valid CWB all positions ticket
- Must have previous welding experience in an industrial setting
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
