Overview
SUMMARY
Constructs and mounts basic vibratory feeder bowls. Completes the finish welding and cosmetics of bowls tooled by journeyman. Trained by journeyman in the techniques required to properly tool bowls. Fabrication experience desired.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, (other duties may be assigned):
· Presents a good attitude toward company goals
· Check folder to prints to assure accuracy
· Constructs basic bowls; using various hand tools, saws, welders, and grinders.
· Finish welding, tuning, glass bead, and cosmetic work on bowls tooled by journeyman Feeder Builder
· Inspection of completed bowls, assist in debug of tooled bowls under the direction of Feeder Supervisor or journeyman Feeder Builder
**TIG welding and fabrication experience preferred.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. TIG welding and fabrication experience is preferred. Apprentice should have a high level of mechanical aptitude and should be familiar with basic machine shop operations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to management and other employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure in English and Metric, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Have the ability to compute percentages. Ability to use scales and calipers.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
