Overview

The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on individual who is skilled in welding, has an excellent attention to detail, and is knowledgeable of engineering principles. We are seeking an applicant with experience in welding MIG or TIG. Looking for a GO-GETTER!!! IF you take great pride in your work, want to learn new things, and are dependable employee, this might be right for you. Must be able to life up to 50 lbs, have good employment history, and pass a pre-employment drug test. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE!

Responsibilities:

  • Conform to standard safety protocols.
  • Apply dye-pen to metallic surfaces.
  • Use power tools to cut the steel.
  • Identify different types of welding equipment.
  • Clean surfaces to remove dirt and grease.
  • Perform X-ray inspection on welds.
  • Use a square and tape measurer to ensure a square weld joint.
  • Clean and grease equipment.
  • Read blueprints and use trial-and-error methods when welding a surface.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
