Overview
We are looking for Brazers/Solders, or Welders to weld all types of commonly used metals and alloys of various sizes, shapes, and thicknesses, including dissimilar metals such as copper to steel Operates various hand-welding, flame-cutting, hand-soldering, or brazing equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.

- Work schedule established by Manager (generally 40 hrs/week, Monday through Friday)
Essential Responsibilities:
- References prints and work instructions to determine the appropriate materials and resources to follow the proscribed process.
- Melts and applies solder along adjoining edges of work pieces to solder joints, using soldering irons or brazing torches.
- Examines brazed/welded sections for defects and performs necessary rework of bad joints, broken parts, or leaks.
- Cleans workpiece and inspects, tests, and adjusts completed units to ensure that unit meets specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements using rulers, micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Skills and Competencies:
- Must be able to interpret and work from prints, work orders, specifications, and verbal direction
- Demonstrate a consistent commitment to quality and possess exceptional attention to detail
Work Experience and Education:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 1-2+ years: Welding/soldering, hard solder, soft solder, soft filler, brazing experience
