Overview
Rhino is a mechanical contractor based in Three Hills. We build, maintain and decommission pipelines and oil and gas facilities. Pipe and Dirt is what we work with primarily. We are growing and excited to offer new employment opportunities. We are offering opportunities B-pressure journeyman welders. This position is to run one of Rhino’s welding trucks. Rhino is open to employee or contract by hand arrangements. Rhino is looking for long term, team minded individuals. Since our work is primarily local to central Alberta we do not pay subsistence, LOA or the like. However we draw staff daily from Red Deer and surrounding area, Stettler, Drumheller, Strathmore, Airdrie, Olds and respective surrounding areas. If you are not within commuting distance of Three Hills or if you are not willing to move here for work then this likely will not be a good fit for you.
Applicants with a valid class 5 or higher driver’s license are preferred. We require all candidates to have H2S alive, Standard 1st aid, WHMIS, TDG and CSO. You must either have these tickets or be willing to acquire them prior to coming to work. Rhino will work with individuals who do not have 1 or more required tickets to complete a phased on-boarding while tickets are being acquired.
