Welder Class A – (CMD)

• Must have 2 years precious experience
• G.E.D. or High School Diploma
• Preferred trade school or special training

Requirement: skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (SKA’S)

• Must have a working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its’ objectives
• Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company
• Must confirm to policies and procedures set forth by the company
• Must have a current driver’s license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance company standards. (Only if job requires)
• Must be computer literate. A windows environment preferred. (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)
• Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds (Only if job requires)
• Must be able to bend and twist several times a day
• Must have the ability to work flexible hours and days
• Must be dependable and work independent
• Must maintain good client relations
• Must maintain a professional appearance
• Must promote and maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment
• Some knowledge of various metals used on construction machinery and how to apply the correct rods and fluxes
• Must protect the company assets and interest

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Read Blueprints
• Repairs, fabricates, and welds construction machinery with supervision
• Capable of operating construction machinery sold by WPI
• Takes advantage of all opportunities to attend schools for training
• Promote good welfare among the company and its divisions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Working conditions:

• typical hours of work; Monday through Friday: 7am to 4pm
• Weekend hours as necessary
• Outside work
